About

Move. Groove. Improve.

As a member of the Green Racing Project, I train year-round and participate in elite-level cross-country ski races around the country, while living a sustainable lifestyle, pushing myself to preform at the highest level. I try to help others grow in the sport by sharing my knowledge and insight of skiing, endurance training, nutrition, and strength training with others.

My motto is Move. Groove. Improve. because in all aspects of my life I try to include moving, grooving, or improving.

Growing Up

Born in Denver, Colorado, I grew up in Apple Valley, Minnesota. As an avid soccer player, I was always going to practice after school and to weekend tournaments around the Midwest. Some of my other favorite things to do were playing with my friends and reading about animals. My older sister Summer joined the school Nordic ski team in middle school, and I wanted to be like her, so I joined the team and started learning to ski in 6th grade as well.

High School

I attended Eastview High School, participating in Cross Country running, Nordic skiing, and Track & Field. Competing in the Minnesota State High School Meet for many years in cross country running and nordic were some of my favorite things because I got to do it with my friends. I also played the french horn in the high school band, and volunteered for numerous organizations with my Girl Scout Troop.

College

I graduated from the University of Vermont, studying Business Analytics, and minoring in Sports Management and Applied Design. I competed on the UVM ski team, learning details about the sport I had previously overlooked and competed at higher-level racing while on the team. Going to UVM was one of the best decisions I have made because I had so much fun while being competitive and learning many new things. During my time at UVM I also held several internships in marketing and business development.

Professional Life

Iā€™m excited to be a new member of the Craftsbury Green Racing Project and have the chance to continue my ski career professionally. I look forward to continue to grow my knowledge of the sport while supporting and assisting the mission of the Craftsbury Outdoor, and as time permits hope to apply skills gained from previous marketing and business development internships to support other organizations as well.
